This policy explains how to cancel a Fidkeep subscription, when a cancellation takes effect and in which cases a refund is made. It supplements the Subscription and Payment Terms and applies together with them. This English version is provided for convenience; the Turkish version prevails in case of conflict.
1. Scope and right of withdrawal
Fidkeep sells its service only to businesses acting for commercial or professional purposes (merchants and tradespeople, legal entities and public institutions); it does not sell to consumers. Therefore Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and the Distance Contracts Regulation do not apply, and there is no right of withdrawal (cayma hakkı). Cancellations and refunds are handled only under the rules in this policy.
2. How to cancel
You can cancel your subscription in either of these ways:
- By cancelling your subscription in the billing settings in the app.
- By writing to [email protected] from the account owner e-mail address registered in the account, stating your business's trade name.
The cancellation must be requested by a user authorised to act for the Customer. Fidkeep confirms the cancellation in writing to your account e-mail address. To avoid being charged for the next period, you must cancel before the renewal date.
3. When a cancellation takes effect
- For monthly and yearly subscriptions, a cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- You can keep using the Service within your plan until the end of the period.
- After the end of the period there is no automatic renewal and no new charge.
- A cancellation made after the renewal fee has been charged takes effect at the end of the renewed period.
For example, a business whose yearly subscription started on 10 March and which cancels on 20 June can keep using the Service until 9 March of the following year; no refund is made for the remaining months and no renewal fee is charged.
4. Access and data after the period ends
- When the billing period ends, access to the paid Service ends.
- Within 30 days of account closure you can request an export of your data by writing to [email protected].
- Account and workspace data, synced Google review and reply data and AI drafts are deleted or anonymised within 90 days of account closure at the latest.
- Google OAuth tokens are deleted when the account is closed. You can revoke Google access at any time in your Google Account's permission settings.
- Invoice, payment and accounting records are kept for 10 years (Article 82 of Turkish Commercial Code No. 6102 and Article 253 of Tax Procedure Law No. 213). Backups are overwritten within 30 days at the latest.
All retention periods are listed in the Privacy Policy.
5. Cancelling a free trial
- A 7-day free trial is offered for the Basic, Pro and Business plans, and no fee is charged during the trial.
- If a payment method was collected at the start of the trial and you cancel before the trial ends, nothing is charged. If you do not cancel, the fee for the first period is charged automatically when the trial ends and is subject to the rules in Section 3.
- If no payment method was collected at the start of the trial, nothing is charged when the trial ends and the account is restricted until a paid plan is started. If you want your account closed, you can write to [email protected].
6. Add-ons and downgrades
- The extra location and +10 daily AI reply add-ons are billed monthly. Cancelling an add-on takes effect at the end of that add-on's current monthly period.
- A downgrade takes effect on the next renewal date; your current plan continues until then. You must reduce locations and team members that exceed the new plan's limits before the renewal date.
- An upgrade takes effect immediately and the price difference is charged pro rata for the remainder of the period.
7. Non-refundable items
No pro-rata refund or credit is given, even if a period has been only partly used. In particular, the following are not refunded:
- the unused part of a monthly or yearly billing period;
- unused daily AI reply allowance;
- add-on fees;
- price differences charged for an upgrade;
- renewal fees charged because the subscription was not cancelled;
- closing the account or downgrading mid-period;
- termination of the contract for reasons attributable to the Customer, such as a breach of the Terms of Service or late payment.
8. When refunds are made
- Duplicate or erroneous charges: if the same service is charged more than once, a renewal fee is charged for a cancelled subscription, a wrong amount is charged because of an obvious technical error, or access cannot be activated despite payment for a reason attributable to Fidkeep, the amount concerned is refunded in full.
- Termination by Fidkeep: if Fidkeep terminates the Service for a reason not attributable to the Customer or permanently discontinues the Service, the unused part of the prepaid fee is refunded pro rata.
- Objection to a new subprocessor: if the Customer objects to a new subprocessor under the Data Processing Agreement and terminates the affected service because the objection could not be resolved, the unused part of the fee prepaid for that service is refunded pro rata.
Send your refund request to [email protected], stating your business's trade name, the account e-mail address, and the date and amount of the charge and the last four digits of the card. Never send the full card number or the security code by e-mail. Fidkeep reviews the request and initiates any justified refund without delay.
9. How refunds are paid
- Refunds are made through iyzico to the card used for the payment. No refunds are made in cash or to another account.
- The time it takes for a refund to appear on the card account depends on the card issuer. It is commonly a few business days but may take longer.
- Invoice corrections related to a refund are made in accordance with Tax Procedure Law No. 213 and the e-Fatura/e-Arşiv legislation. Where necessary, the Customer may be asked for a return invoice or other relevant document.
10. Contact and changes
For all cancellation, refund and billing requests, write to [email protected]. Formal notices are made to Fidkeep's KEP address ([email protected]). Company details are available on the Company Information page.
Material changes to this policy are announced by e-mail and in-app notice at least 30 days before they take effect. Disputes relating to this policy are governed by the Terms of Service and the Subscription and Payment Terms.
